Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

This policy explains how the YouTube Uploader app ("the app"), run by SLLAIGHT, handles data when you sign in with Google.

What the app accesses

When you grant access, the app uses the YouTube Data API scopes youtube.upload, youtube and youtube.force-ssl to: upload videos and Shorts to your channel, set thumbnails, set titles, descriptions, tags and publish times, add videos to playlists, and post a comment on your own videos. It reads only what it needs for these tasks (for example, your channel's playlist names).

What is stored

The OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored only on the owner's own computer so uploads can run without signing in every time. The app keeps a local record of uploaded video IDs and publish times. No data is stored on any server run by SLLAIGHT.

Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer Google user data to anyone. Data is sent only to Google/YouTube to perform the actions above. Google user data is not used for advertising and is not used to train AI or machine-learning models.

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It also follows the YouTube Terms of Service; see also the Google Privacy Policy.

Removing access

You can remove the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the token files on the owner's computer also removes all stored access.
